Meeting Information:  1st Tuesday in the month except for July & August.  Meet at 12:00 NOON, the American Legion Post 177, 3939 Oak Street, Fairfax, VA 22030

12:00 PM – Lunch ($20.00, includes dessert and tea/coffee)
12:30 PM – Speaker

Speaker/Program Activities

 2024  SPEAKER/PROGRAM ACTIVITIES: 

November 5 – Deana Tisdale, Blue Cross/Blue (BCBS) Shield Senior Account Consultant, provided updates on the BCBS Federal Employee Health Benefits Plans (FEHP) for 2025.  The BCBS presentation is attached.

December 3 – Annual Holiday Festivities. Holiday celebration with music, singing and bingo games. Music by Brian Franke on guitar. Hope you will come out and sing along and celebrate with us!

NOTE: Please bring your dry goods food donation to be taken to “Food for Others” to help those less fortunate.

January 7, 2025 – Shawn Smith, State Director for the Virginia Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP),  will address Medicare Fraud. SMP is a Medicare advocacy program focused on educating and supporting seniors in preventing, detecting, and reporting healthcare fraud, errors and abuse.
