Structure

The Virginia Federation of NARFE Board of Directors consists of the six Executive Board Officers, eight Area Vice Presidents, six Program Chairs, the Region X Vice President, and eleven Presidential Nominated committees.    The Region X Vice President and Presidential Nominated committee members are non-voting members of the board.

The Executive Board consists of the six voting officers (President, 1st VP, 2nd VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past President, and the Region X Vice President (non-voting).

The Federation trains chapter officers and program chairs on a recurring basis.  Training sessions are held throughout the state to minimize travel requirements.  The Board of Directors meets four times yearly at a central location to conduct the business of the Federation.
