I am Graylin Taylor. Mary and I were married in 1982. We have one daughter. 

 I am the new Area IV Vice President for the VFN, as of October 04/2022 and the current President of Chapter 1293. I joined NARFE on August 8, 2014. I am the 2^nd Vice Chair of the Board of Deacons at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth Va. 

I started my career as an apprentice at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) in 1976. I completed a four-year apprenticeship in three and a half years. I graduated from Tidewater CommunityCollege with an A.A.S in Industrial Management. During my career at the NNSY, I held the positions as work leader, inspector, supervisor, inspector supervisor, and as Mechanical Branch, Quality Assurance Manager (non-nuclear). I retired with 37-years of service. 

Area IV takes every opportunity to introduce NARFE to current and retired Federal workers. We participate in several local events in areas that are near federal facilities.
