Meeting Location: Colonial Heritage, 6520 Arthur Hills Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23188
Meeting Information: We have monthly lunch meetings at Colonial Heritage on the second Tuesday of each month, September through May. A social gathering is at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch and a guest speaker at 11:30. There are two informal meetings at different locations during the summer, usually one breakfast and one lunch. Chapter 685 cordially invites active/retired Federal employees to attend chapter meetings.
Chapter Activities
- Speaker at each meeting to discuss issues of interest to current and retired federal employees.
- Publish quarterly newsletters for chapter members.
- Raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research. (100% of NARFE money raised goes to Research)
- Support local charities and organizations.
- A chapter holiday event is held in December.
- Chapter Service Officer Frances McElroy assists members, families and survivors and keeps members informed regarding retirement benefits and programs.
