On a sweltering day in August 1999 a consequence unfolded. I moved from the motor city of Detroit, Michigan to the sunny city of Virginia Beach. I am married to Donald Warren. We have two Sons, three Grandchildren and one great granddaughter. I attended American University, Washington DC and Lewis College of Business, Detroit, Michigan.

My federal career began with the Department of Defense, US Air Force as an Officer’s Records Clerk and varied positions in The Department of Commerce, Washington, DC, Internal Revenue, Detroit, MI and US Army Corps of Engineers New York and Detroit Districts. After thirty-four years of service, I retired as the Logistics Officer, US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District.

I have been a member of NARFE for over thirty years. My service includes 2^nd VP- Membership Chair, Michigan Federation, Detroit Chapter 89, Virginia Federation Chapter president, Legislative Officer, Programs Officer, Service Officer, VFN Membership Retention, Secretary, and currently Area II VP.

Area II is composed of four chapters located in Virginia Beach and Norfolk. The chapters do not meet in July and August.
